Check. This. Place. Out. Do. It. Awesome food that comes out on little trains after you have ordered it on your iPad.

Mures Upper Deck

The food is prepared really well. They do a really good chowder. It does feel vast if you are not seated in a corner.

The Margate Train

Eclectic mix of furniture, antiques and bric a brac. Always worth a look in.

Peacock and Jones
4.6

33 Hunter St 7000, Hobart

Had a perfect date-night here! Really welcoming staff who knew the menu well. We enjoyed chicken parfait and ling fritters to start, both unusual and delicious, followed by a special of the day; Moroccan lamb with baba ganoush. The lamb was cooked to perfection and could have eaten much much more of the yummy smokey aubergine. We passed on pudding, but they looked pretty special. Overall great ambience, staff and menu and not too pricey. A little gem in Hobart!

Cugini Restaurant
4.6
/ 215

34 Cambridge Rd 7018, Bellerive

Excellent. Delicious food. We shared a pizza - very generous toppings and sizes. The wine by the glass was excellent - we had a very nice italian pinot grigio, and reasonably priced. Dessert was amazing. We shared a special - the lamington icecream cake that was an absolute delight. One of the best desserts I've ever had - really hope they put it on the main menu - crunchy chocolate biscuit base, vanilla icrecream, raspberry sorbet, coconut icecream all coated in melted chocolate and coconut. Great lively atmosphere and very busy mid week but service was great. Bookings recommended to ensure you get in. Will definitely go again.

Geronimo Aperitivo Bar & Restaurant
4.3
/ 262

186 Charles St 7250, Launceston

Tasteful decor, good atmosphere, lovely and helpful staff but very overpriced. We were a group of five and $26 per plate for one of five small scallops, with some salad leaves, a plate of a few asparagus spears with a poached egg and others..... All well-cooked, well-presented, delicious but....very over-priced. I only want this review to be critically-constructive. All good wishes.

In The Hanging Garden
4.6
/ 214

112 Murray St 7000, Hobart

Tapas are very very fancy. Gin cocktail from the right hand side kitchen is refreshing and doesn't taste like alcohol at all. For more substantial meal, buy pasta from the kitchen on the left. This place is very dog welcome, by the way.

Straight Up Coffee and Food
4.5
/ 228

202 Liverpool St 7000, Hobart

Nice cafe, great coffee and they've left a decent amount of space between the tables. Great relaxed atmosphere.

Brilliant, friendly and helpful staff. Great view of the yachts. They Squeezed us in at last notice late on a Sunday night in the middle of silly season. Unfortunately several menu choices were out of stock but it was late on a busy Sunday night.
