89 Cimitiere St, Launceston
Great service and food
Delicious, high-end but down-to-earth treat of a cafe.
Excellent, been there two days in a row with my husband and we both loved it. Compares with all our favourites.
Great coffee and food. Lovely service as well.
The coffee here is just fabulous. The selection of pastries was pretty good. A wide variety of drinks and cheeses in the fridges, plus a wonderful selection of coffee beans, chocolates, wines, salts, and freshly baked bread. Plus the space is pretty cool and so are the people.
10/5 stars. They make their own breads, croissant, AND butter. I literally salivate just thinking about their croissants. The place is huge and the fact that it can be hard to find a table, is a true testament of how good they are. Parking can be hard to find in the main road, but there are parking spaces available at the car park where the Harvest market is usually held. They DON'T supply Soy milk to replace normal milk but they do have oat milk as a replacement. Now it is a cafe and not a restaurant so their menu is limited, BUT they do have great Eggs Benny. The only negative I can say is perhaps having 1 more floor staff to clear and clean tables to be able to pump the customers in and out faster on a busy day. Maybe have someone greet you at the door in case you've never been there before. But great experience overall.
Amazing bread, heavenly butter and the coffee is brilliant, too. Menu is wide but not overwhelming. Plenty of space inside, not cramped like so many other cafés. A highlight of our visit, had to visit twice.
Food was good, coffee was good too. It's a busy place and the pastries are enjoyable. What soured the experience was the staff member that served us had the biggest chip on her shoulder which was certainly not necessary. This sort of customer service is not called for and will prevent people returning! Otherwise a good experience.
Top place for breakfast on a cold Launceston morning. The place was pumping with Anzac Day and AFL footy on. You could spot the mainlanders warming up by the fire. Great coffee and and breakfast bun was the sugar rush I needed
Amazing Food Quality. The croissants are so buttery they are crispy but melt in your mouth. Toast on Egg is one of the beat in Australia. If you are visiting Launceston this is place should be on your must visit for brekky list. Be prepared for long wait as it is very popular. parking around the place is reasonable.
