The Cherry Shed

Really good food and friendly staff. I had to step out just as the food arrived to deal with my screaming baby, and the staff put my food under the heating light to keep it warm without being asked. They were apologetic that it may not be very good when they brought it back (it was fine) but I had expected to come back to cold food so I was happy. There is a play area outside for the kids and it's fenced off and you can see the kids easily from the restaurant which is really good when they've finished their food and they're getting bored. Also easy parking and some good photo opportunities. There is a shop full of cherry products.

If you are heading to Devonport and want to grab coffee...any snacks..or rest ....best place to go. Even you can buy local handicrafts, local cherry relish, local cherry Jam. Among all i tried cherry ice cream oops forget to mention which is best to try.

It’s my birthday today & we booked a table for 12 lunch time. The service was great. The food was delicious BUT...when we went to order dessert they said they had run out of their signature dessert of cherry pie! It was only 1pm by the time we wanted dessert yet they had none left! It’s THE CHERRY SHED & known FOR their cherry pie. The server told us the bakers had run out of time & didn’t make enough for today. We were so disappointed because we had chosen The Cherry Shed mainly FOR their cherry pie! Also once seated we were told that about 5 items weren’t available because they had run out...at 12.20pm 🤷🏽‍♀️ They really need to make sure they at least have enough of their signature dessert. Odd thing is that we were told we could buy a WHOLE cherry pie to take home. Why not cut these whole pies into pieces & serve them to us..?

Excellent caramel latte, not overpowering sweet like some, lovely balance. My son said the Beef Burger was fantastic an ample size. My daughter really like the caramel milkshake, again not overly sweet. Thank you :)

Only bought a chai latte and savory muffin. Chai had no flavour just like warm milk. Savoury muffin was too SWEET to eat. Very disappointed with purchase.

What a great place to start the day!!Breakfast..morning tea..lunch..while being spoiled with delicious cherries!! Covid compliant..enthusiastic staff ..indulge yourself...!!!!!

We had a slice of cherry pie with vanilla ice cream and it was delicious. Service was excellent. Unfortunately we came when it was off season so no fresh cherries (we expected this before visiting so not an issue).

Great place for travel. Nice food.
