Friendly service, great food and atmosphere. Enjoy going here for lunch at least once every couple of weeks.
Such a great experience. Intimate family feel. We had the Chef menu, consisting of a 6-7 small dishes, best shared. Only a few (well chosen) wines on offer but also byo. Check it out and be taken good care of.
The food is prepared really well. They do a really good chowder. It does feel vast if you are not seated in a corner.
Had a perfect date-night here! Really welcoming staff who knew the menu well. We enjoyed chicken parfait and ling fritters to start, both unusual and delicious, followed by a special of the day; Moroccan lamb with baba ganoush. The lamb was cooked to perfection and could have eaten much much more of the yummy smokey aubergine. We passed on pudding, but they looked pretty special. Overall great ambience, staff and menu and not too pricey. A little gem in Hobart!
Tapas are very very fancy. Gin cocktail from the right hand side kitchen is refreshing and doesn't taste like alcohol at all. For more substantial meal, buy pasta from the kitchen on the left. This place is very dog welcome, by the way.
Nice cafe, great coffee and they've left a decent amount of space between the tables. Great relaxed atmosphere.
Excellent - quaint, character, the pub and the owner. Great meals, good value, good size servings, and the steak is cooked just how you like it. We love this pub <3
It's not all that fast because they cook it while you wait but it is good. Expensive but good.
One of the best locations in Hobart backed up with amazing service and the finest food. A great variety of beers and spirits both local and international with the wine list highlighting the very best from Frogmore's own estate. I had some shared plates with our beers and they did not disappoint.
Found this place while visiting Hobart & what a find! Enjoyed a fantastic bacon & egg focaccia with tomato relish with some nice coffee. Highly recommended.
