Recommend the spider roll. Expect to wait at least 45 mins for the food to come out if you're not super hungry (the sushi just takes a very long time). Tempura and other hot food is fairly fast. Good and pleasant customer service ladies. Just a mega slow chef........ Zzz.

Absolutely authentic Japanese. Hokkaido scallops were fresh, tender and beautifully presented. Sushi roll and sashimi dishes were expertly prepared with very fresh ingredients. Best octopus balls since my last visit to Japan. Main dishes (beef and salmon) were a very good size and well prepared. A nice Sake list, with a nice selection of fruity and dry options. Lovely plates and presentation. Excellent service. Would hold it's standing with any comparable Japanese restaurant globally. Lovely meal.

On a trip around Tasmania this is a MUST!! The salmon is amazing, recommend BOTH the banquets. Best Japanese in Hobart, no contest.
