overrated pie shop. we tried 2 types of pies. very average.I am not saying it was bad tho. 4 stars for excellent customer service.

Great coffee with good calm and peaceful location! Have better coffee than before, my type of coffee! And always great staff with good smile.

A Hobart tradition that makes absolutely delicious baked goods. The large range of fresh artisan breads and delicious baked sweets and treats makes choosing just one thing so difficult. It's all so good! Have been many times over the years and have never been disappointed. It's also a lovely place to grab a delicious lunch (and great veg/vegan choices) and coffee.

My husband and I visited this place for the first time yesterday afternoon and unfortunately we were very much disappointed with the service. The middle aged woman at the counter who was taking our orders was quite rude and very unfriendly. So disappointing. We thought it's a good place to try because of good reviews but nah, we're not going back there anymore. By the way, my husband found a hair stuck in his cake.

My girlfriend and I enjoy to have brunch in our days off. We had brunch in many cafe in Hobart and Jackman&McRoss is always our favourite. Good service and high quality food. Goat cheese tart is tremendously tasty and sometimes I would even order two at a time.

Situated in a quiet street of Tassie. Well Tassie is quiet in general. How’s the food? At first I was expecting punchy flavours and flaky pastry from a pie. Upon the first bite I wasn’t sure how I felt about the flavour or lack of. But the more I ate, the more I enjoy the subtle true flavours of the scallop. The pastry was soft and delicate. Coffee? 👍🏼 thumbs up.

Best place for food,coffee great to. Staff are excellent and prices reasonable. Such a variety of cakes,pastries. Good choices for breakfast as well

This place came recommended to us by a couple of different people. The croissants here are excellent. Proper buttered goodness. Very good coffee too.
