The Australian Heritage Hotel
4.3

100 Cumberland Street, The Rocks 2000, Sydney

where else can you eat kangaroo / emu pizza? the staff doesn't think your suggestion for koala pizza is very funny, either.

The Winery
4.2
/ 905

285A Crown St Surry Hills 2010, Sydney

The Winery was talk of the town a while ago so I thought I'd go check it out. The food and drinks are delicious but a bit of a drain of the back pocket. The staff, whilst being professional can be rather short in manner and lacked to inform us that they were closing in 5 mins when we entered, allowing us to order a jug of sangria only to tell us to get out a few minutes later.

City Extra
3.9
/ 1097

E4 East Podium, Between Wharf 3 & 4 Circular Quay 2000, Sydney

Every week after dancing, we come here for a champagne (and sometimes a crusty bread roll) while we wait for the ferry. Fantastic views.

Pyrmont Bridge Hotel
3.9
/ 1077

96 Union St Pyrmont 2009, Sydney

Thursday $20 dollar 1kg steak challenge. Too awesome for words :)

IPPUDO
4.2
/ 852

Shop 5021/188 Pitt St, Sydney

You might think $16 - $20 for ramen is pricey, and you're probably right but you are paying for serious quality here. Not to mention the service is excellent (particularly when its not busy). Recommended that you also try the pork buns for an entree, as they do go down well. I've heard mixed things about the gyoza, but I haven't tried it yet. This place also has full EFTPOS facilities too so don't let the price discourage you too much.

Belles Hot Chicken
3.9
/ 1061

Barangaroo Alexander Shop 5 33 Barangaroo Ave Barangaroo 2000, Sydney

Fantastic chicken and chips. Cards only which is a surprise normally its cash only. Happy with how they've put this together. A nice place to go any day of the week. Fresh hot and crisp. I will definitely be back.

Yulli's

417 Crown St Surry Hills 2010 0, Sydney

Great service, went for drinks before they opened and got chips on the house for waiting. Very nice and competent service. Can recommend this place 100% !

Masala Kitchen CBD Sydney

Shop 10.68, World Square Pitt St, Sydney

Just had an amazing Samosa Chaat. $6!!! Delicious, filling, and an absolute bargain. What more could you wish for? The Thali meals look fantastic, too, but I think I will need to bring a friend to share one with me.

678 Korean BBQ Sydney CBD
4.5
/ 679

shop 34/1 Dixon St, Sydney

Best autbentic Korean BBQ in the CBD. Has coals and options for more expensive premium wagyu. The other 678 BBQ on Pitt st is great as well but this one has complimentary egg and corn soup around the cook top. Also worth mentioning is that they only have Kloud Korean beer and no Hite or Cass.

RaRa

66B Regent St Redfern 2016, Sydney

Just what the neighbourhood needed. Delicious tonkotsu ramen from local ingredients and local (and Japanese) beers on tap. I’ll be back!

Ms.G’s

155 Victoria St Potts Point 0, Sydney

Its got a great bar with a great view, but the food is so over priced for what you get. This resulted in a poor experience

Bistro Rex

50-58 Macleay Street Potts Point Shop 1 2011, Sydney

Amazing venue, Amazing food and amazing service. We loved everything about the place and it will definitely be our new go to spot. Highly highly recommend.

BLACK Bar & Grill
4.5
/ 663

80 Pyrmont Street Level G, Harbourside, The Star 2009, Sydney

Once seated, our waiter quickly explained to us how the menu worked as it was our first time dinning here. Besides the à la carte menu, there is also a pre-theatre set menu on offer, wine list came on an iPad. While we pondered about what to order, the complimentary house made brioche arrived at our table. Even though the loaf was soft, rich and creamy, we just could not resist the soft and smooth butter that came with it. Flakes of volcanic black salt is also on the table if you should fancy it. The Beef Tartare with heirloom beets, mustard ice cream and puffed wild rice was delicious, the Lamb Rack which came with spring bean cassoulet and black garlic was cooked to perfection. The dessert dish Upside-down Cake served with pineapple curd, white chocolate powder and pineapple sorbet did not disappoint either. My friend was not very impressed with her dessert though, the Honeycrunch which was served with clover honey parfait, ginger biscuit, honeycomb and cinnamon. It was not what she had expected and felt it should have had a bit more honey taste and sweetness to it.

Banksii Vermouth Bar & Bistro
4.5
/ 654

Shop 11, 33 Barangaroo Ave Barangaroo 2000, Sydney

Elegant flavours, amazing vermouth selection and the best sharing menu around. Awesome work. Will be back again.

Hurricane's Grill Darling Harbour
3.8
/ 1082

Shops 433 - 436 Darling Dr, Sydney

I went to Hurricanes last weekend for a friends birthday. Immediately after I sat down a waitress asked for my drink order which was brought out just as fast. The reccomendation of the Pork Ribs was spot on! Food was beautiful. Very attentive and friendly staff. Highly recommend Hurricanes Darling Harbour!
