Can say they have the best waffles here i've ever had super airy and fluffy also the pasta dishes are super nice.

Nested in the inside the heart of Chippendale, behind Central Park, this place has easily become one of my favourite asian fusion destination for food! I came with two other friends and we ordered so much food it could possibly feed an army. We ordered the Boba Tea Cake, Sated Egg Yolk Prawn Pasta, Malaysian Style Brekkie Set, x23 Red Eggs, Pandan Milkshake, Tek Tarik & Pink Lemonade. Talk about the feast. Now lets draw down on the flavours of these dishes, every single one of these had nothing to fault. Flavours were on point that we wanted to keep going for more. 100% strongly recommended this place to try out when you're in the area.

Yes it's worth 4.9 stars!! Love the Malaysian breakfast menu with congee offerings which was exactly what I wanted in terms of variety. Very friendly service and meals came out quickly. We ordered the pork and century egg congee, red eggs and pandan waffle, all really delicious and with amazing flavours esp the eggs and waffle.

Staff were dismissive when we came to eat for the first time today. Food and drinks were nice but a bit overpriced

This cafe actually really surprise me, glance through their Instagram account and had been aware that the red eggs is their signature. As a first time comer, I decided to give it a try as I'm a spicy lover. Ordered an normal spicy level and it is actually can be said as extra spicy. The friendly waitress advised that the red eggs goes well with the monthly special drinks which is the mandarin orange oolong tea. It never disappoint me as it is very refreshing and the sweetness can be taste that it is from real mandarin orange juice. Will definitely pay a visit for other food. Amazing flavours and super friendly. Flavours I’ve never tasted before, each component of the dish was perfectly done! Highly recommend the eggs Benedict, milk tea, coffee and signature red eggs. Amazing, will definitely return!!!

X23 has a lot of really fun and creative Malaysian fusion dishes. This was my second visit. I must admit the first time I came I wasn't as impressed with the food, probably because we ordered food that wasn't quite for me but I thoroughly enjoyed my time here the second time around. We had the seafood congee (which is new), salted egg prawn pasta, pandan waffles and rendang pulled beef burger! I personally loved the congee and waffles the most as they were flavoursome but not overpowering. I like congee that has a more subtle taste because you can always adjust it to your preference with salt. I thought the pasta was really creative, unique and delicious! The waffles had a nice sweet flavour and was really yummy with the fruit, it was the perfect sweetness level for me. The burger was also another fun dish that's super rich and full of flavour!

Lovely little cafe with a great variety of Asian fusion dishes. The Pandan waffles were fantastic and came with a nice variety of fresh fruits. Service was friendly too.

Last week, I happened to pass by central park, and saw this hidden cafe so i decided to walk in and try on their monthly special, seafood congee. I was so amazed by the taste of the food, it was so delicious, it makes me feel like I was back home. Highly recommended!
