See All92 Hay Street 2000, Sydney
I came during its soft opening and had prawn noodle soup. The broth was delicious. Full of flavour. The waitresses were attentive and friendly. The decor was pretty cool from stencil graffiti outside and the seafood aquariums to door and window ways inside. Will have to return for some Satay chicken
83 York St 2000, Sydney
I got a takeaway Beef Rendang one morning, before they had started serving food (so I was obviously happy with the service after they accommodated my request). The rendang was decent. Not the best I've ever had, but pretty good. From the outside the decor looks like any food court-style place. Not really where you'd go for fine dining, but it did look nice and clean.
66 Mountain St 2007, Sydney
malaysian eatery with the generic menu. cheap, fast, no chit chat service
Gateway Building Level 1 Pitt St Entrance Cnr of Pitt & Alfred St, Circular Quay 2000, Sydney
The food was wonderful and quick to come out. There was plenty of food, and the staff were attentive and prompt for all our needs. The restaurant was nice, but seemed a little dodgy when you walk in the door and there's no-one to greet you until you walk to the upstairs section of the restaurant. Glad we went, was a wonderful experience.

Friendly staff, modern decor with a touch of south east Asian inspired furniture, beautiful nasi lemak burger and pandan waffle. I highly recommend their coffee; natural coffee with Jersey milk. Something quite different to what I've tasted before. Finally, wash everything down with an ice teh tarik. Beautiful meal. More food pics of x23 on Instagram @shymizzy

Absolutely love the food here. Especially, bak kut teh and the roast duck are really tasty.
Angel Place Office Tower 123 Pitt St 2000, Sydney
Bar Cupola is the perfect restaurant for a lunch-time in the city. The impressive foyer with huge artworks will seat an army. The food, coffee and service are impeccable.
225 George St Shop 1, Grosvenor Place Upper Lobby 2000, Sydney
This Malaysian restaurant has become one of my regular 'canteens' during workdays in the city. Tried a number of dishes and most of them are speedy and delicious. They have quite an ordering system and can manage lunch hour rush quite well although it does get a little stressful or loud when staff are calling out dishes or getting customers to come to their counter etc. The turnover is pretty quick and well managed. We can find a table within minutes. They''re recently introduced deals (food + cold prepared drinks) that is quite attractive for office workers. Note: they've announced that they will raise the cost due to rise of food cost. Will see how this will pane out as they have always been seen as the affordable and fast food outlet.
200 Barangaroo Ave The Canteen, Tower 2 2000, Sydney
Ipoh is found within the new Canteen foodcourt of Barangaroo. I went during peak lunch time and there was a long queue. The wait was worth it, one of the best rice noodles in egg broth I've had in Sydney! So many flavours, I couldn't stop eating it even though I was full!
Watching the roti production is super fun. They serve really fast. Skip the desert, obviously.
