True to the Bean

DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!!! my waffles were hard and seemed like they had been sitting there for weeks. i sent them back and asked for fresh ones & saw them being thrown around the kitchen. overheard chef? verbally abusing the young staff member who took my waffles back. later on i ordered a large latte which came out as a small cappuccino. as others were ordering food i saw what must have been the chef leave the kitchen with a smoke in his mouth.. try to avoid if you can.

Staff were hilarious, poor things were in puff jackets. They made it feel so inviting and real. Food was delicious and coffee brewed perfectly.

This place is hilariously bad. The staff are friendly but for a place that “specialises” in waffles they were far from fresh and tasted store bought. There’s no music and it’s just eerily quiet as you hear the staff “chat” I was hoping the iced chocolate would be the saving grace but it was literally ice cubes, milk and chocolate syrup dumped in the bottom of the glass. A woman came in and ordered a coffee and the lady who served her told her she’d bring it outside to her but then screamed out a few minutes later for her to come and get it. Disappointing yet entertaining.

Good value, with quick service. Unfortunately, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. $10 combo for a coffee and bacon and egg roll.. winning!

Do not recommend this cafe!!! Firstly, we noticed another customer had been waiting for her order 15 minutes before we got there. She asked a staff member where her tea was, only for the staff to tell her that they’ve run out of that specific tea. Secondly, all our coffee orders came out wrong. The staff apologise before putting the food down, as if they know what they are doing is wrong, yet they’re still going to try and get away with it. Most of our food orders also came out wrong, additionally making us wait 45 minutes for 2 food items that weren’t even what we ordered! No offence but I don’t even know how they are still open with the amount of bad reviews they’ve got. Don’t waste your time here. The staff are surely taking the piss.

Was heading back to Sydney. Waited 20mins for bitter undrinkable coffee. Threw them in the bin, and drove down the road for decent coffees at BP servo. This place is ridiculous! It wasn't even busy at the time.

Ordered 1 takeaway vanilla milkshake. They weren't very busy yet took them TWENTY minutes to make the milkshake. The milkshake was nothing special. Just milk and vanilla syrup. Not worth the $$ or time spent waiting. 👎
