I like the idea of Falafel burger. However in my 3 times I found that the falafel patty is so crunchy that it looses all the taste.

awesome iconic Sydney pub in the heart of the Rocks . Fab roof top bar, with great harbour on SOH views, friendly staff and great meal deals. The falafel burger was really good, definitely recommend it.

Amazing location View But also an outstanding committed staff members who were keen to help and get a great spot in the Terrance when they got spare space. SPECIALLY ERIKA! To her employers: you nailed it hiring her.

A pub with an excellent rooftop and view of the harbour from one side. Good for a warm day. Rooftop is by far the best area, book ahead to get a space if you can. Menu is typical pub grub with some higher end options. Nothing remarkable but tasty. Good for a beer or bite.

Nice view of Opera house from the roof top. Reserve in advance to avoid disappointment. Food is little on the costly side

Description

The Glenmore Hotel was built by Brewers Tooth & Co in 1921 and has been an Aussie icon ever since. It is one of the last surviving pre- Harbour Bridge buildings on Cumberland Street, north of the Cahill Expressway. The site is known to have been occupied from the early years of 1800, although it is likely that, like the other ridges of The Rocks, it was occupied by the encampment of settlers in the first weeks of the arrival of the First Fleet in 1788. With its colonial old English charm and character, The Glenmore has been a popular watering hole, which has survived depressions, wars and plagues. This hidden gem in The Rocks was starting to show her age and in early 2012 it was closed for refurbishment for 9 months of loving restoration. The building itself is heritage listed for it’s traditional Rocks pub allure.
