This is my second time visiting Duck. Staff are friendly and the beer are awesome. All kind different living music here. Quite enjoyable.
Can highly recommend The Duke Hotel. From the personal greeting From the landlady to the great service by all of the staff, made eating here a pleasure. Can recommend and would eat here anytime. Great food.
Great friendly pub... excellent food (try the chicken breast or lamb shank). The publican, Doug, is way cool.
Unassuming pub that has some of the best food Hobart has to offer, literally could charge double price and it would be a bargain. Cannot recommend this place enough. 11/10.

The food and service was fantastic. Wish I could do a 5.5stars. Hosts were great. Very accomodating to our large group. Live music a bit folksie for my taste but still pleasent.
A large group of about 20 of us enjoyed a fabulous New Year’s Eve at The Duke. The hospitality, food and drinks were fantastic! It’s good to note the owners certainly know their Gins and Whiskey.
Best food I had whilst in Hobart (can't recommend the chicken breast enough), lively atmosphere, and great staff.
Lovely staff that were very patient with our group with late comers, and absolutely amazing food.
