98 Patrick St 7000, Hobart
I had the pleasure of enjoying the chefβs menu degustation at the end of September. Delicious courses full of interesting and well-paired flavours, beautiful and cosy little venue, and lovely service. Highly recommend!
Incredible food and bevs. Great thought and technique. Lovely staff
Excellent pairing of wine and entrees. Service is consistent as always. Highly recommended.
Loved the experience from start to finish. We went for the $45 lunch option as dinner was booked out and were worried we'd be left wanting more...WE WERE NOT! Imagine your best wet dream has come to life in the shape of mussels on toast (flavour was always there) well worth the $8 to add the Chefs Special and make it a five course experience. PRO TIP: get your photo taken, but ensure your faces are facing the windows. It was a gorgeous clear day in Hobart for us and as a result my girlfriend's eyes looked as blue as the Amalfi coast. She's never been to Europe so couldn't share this fact with her but take my word for it! 10/10 absolutely gorgeous girl. Compliments to the suppliers, the chef and everyone in between that makes Templo such a special experience. Thanks for being the highlight of our trip to Hobart.
Like eating at home with your friends. A truly unique experience. From the layout of the room, to the simple and delicious dishes and the attentive service. Some fine natural wines complete the small menu written on the blackboard. One of the best dining option in already highly competitive scene in Tasmania. Make sure to book well ahead, especially in high season.
Small restaurant focused on Italian dishes made from local ingredients. They have a mix of seating including a communal table, bar seating, and small tables. You can taste everything via the Chef's menu or order dishes off the menu. We did the latter and had the missiles, gnocchi, and pork. Everything was delicious! They also have a great selection of wines.
My second time dining at Templo. Food was immaculate but we definitely left wanting more. Great list of natty wines, we opted for the matching wines with the chefs menu ($50/pp) and also got a glass of Pet Nat to start the evening. To be honest, matching wines not worth it - better off buying a bottle or two and sharing between
Cute little place with a small menu. The service was really good and friendly and the food was pretty good. I'll probably go back to try the chefs menu as the dishes were tasty and a good size portion. Prices were pretty reasonable too.
A cozy little restaurant that feels casual even though the food is fine dining. Eating here has made me re-evaluate foods I thought I didn't like ... because they were out-of-this-world delicious!!!
Fantastic! We sat on the communal table and that was fun meeting other people. Meals were very tasty, inventive and cooked to perfection! Definitely do the chef's tasting menu. We were both pescatarians and they were happy to accommodate us, thankfully as we were keen to try this restaurant.
