Templo

I had high expectations for templo but they were unfortunately met with average dishes and even more average wine pairings. The restaurant looks nice and cosy from the outside. Once inside, there are too many people talking over one another, making it impossible to have a dinner conversation. The food was okay, maybe nice could even be used to describe it but that's the problem, just nice isn't good enough for the price that you pay. The staff seemed rehearsed and were dismissive of local Tasmanian wines. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Standout was the gnollo fritto and pork neck. Deserved all their hats and more, great service. Let very full and satisfied

A mid-priced restaurant with excellent selection and vast menu. Great presentation and food size for sharing. Excellent service as well.

Such a great dining experience overall. The chefs tasting menu was delicious and good value. The drink pairing is a great way to run your night, although the wine pours are on the light side for the price you pay. Highly recommend Templo for a date night but be prepared to possibly be on a round communal table.

One of a kind dining experience in the centre of Hobart. Amazing.

The chef's choice fixed price menu is very good value. You get a good variety of food which is very well done. I liked the atmosphere of dining in a small room, although I suspect it could be very noisy if as full capacity. The staff were very friendly and professional. A very good choice for a night out in Hobart

A small, unique dining experience in the back streets of Hobart. The food and service was impeccable though expensive for what it is.

A small restaurant with great food. Most people take the chefs menu which is a mixture of the fresh foods in season. The pasta is exceptional. We shared a table which can be strange but everyone seemed to be relaxed about it. They deserve to be on your to eat list.

Delicious and intimate, service top notch! Enjoyed the limited seating and homey-ness of the fine cuisine! Will be back (:
