We walked in to this restaurant while my husband and I travelled to Hobart. I suddenly wanted to have Italian food that night, then we encountered this restaurant at a street corner. The restaurant was going to be busy, and we were told that we had to leave by 7:45pm. We were fine as we wanted to go somewhere at night. The decor of the restaurant was in European style, giving you an impression that you are back to Europe. We ordered entree and main course, without wine, which caused the waitress looked at us in a bit strange way. Anyway, she kept coming back to refill our glass, which was good service. The entree came in quickly, - Bruschetta ŵ melted bocconcini, confit garlic, fresh oregano, evoo & cracked black pepper, I'm not Italian, so the food to me is the bread with garlic and some herbal spice butter and melted cheese, it was my first time to have this bread, both my husband and I were impressed. The main course took a long time to arrive, my husband had a steak, and I had seafood pasta with salad. The steak was juicy, and cooked in right tenderness; my pasta was exactly what I wanted, creamy and delicious. It was a pity that the manager told us to take our time to have the meal after we've half finished, as he just found a table. I was too full to have dessert, so we left by 7:45pm. The total cost was about $80, and it was absolutely nicer than the one we had in Bicheno. We've told everyone about this restaurant after we came back. Highly recommended

I ducked into here between a business meeting and my taxi to the airport and was seated in the 'best seat in the house' as described by my waiter. Think Mafia boss, back to the wall kind of 'best seat'. I was quickly attended to and ordered the duck special of the day along with some champion tasting garlic bread. Because I was sitting alone and noticed by a waiter who I assume was the owner I was offered a complementary glass of wine to go with my lunch. While I wasn't waiting or impatient at not having had my order taken it was a nice gesture that wasn't necessary to keep me happy. It was a pleasant and relaxing experience despite the growing crowd and I'll definitely head back their next time I'm in town.

Such a great experience. Intimate family feel. We had the Chef menu, consisting of a 6-7 small dishes, best shared. Only a few (well chosen) wines on offer but also byo. Check it out and be taken good care of.

Surprise birthday dinner, fantastic food. The chicken main on gnocchi was perfect, entree fantastic, and service great. Loved it. Highly recommend.

I ordered 1 takeaway, medium seafood pizza, which was ready in 8 minutes. Just enough time to walk to the bottle shop and back! The Pizza was perfect, not too much topping or liquid, 1 cm base at the maximum, with fine fermentation pockets, and not too salty!

My lamb meal was nice , a little expensive for what is was, but nice. The waiting staff was appalling. Stretched across the table to serve the meals to customers on the opposite to side for every course. At one stage knocked a glass of wine over with the plate as passing to customer on the other side of the table, of which fell into her lap. At NO stage did they offer to replace the glass of wine. The waitress actually laughed as she was saying sorry. Our group all enjoyed their meals but service was very poor.

Good menu selection, food took time to arrive however the waiter was very apologetic and kept the table informed. Was noisy as you would expect from a family restaurant and making the way to the bathroom was an obstacle course as the tables were so close together. Wait staff were very friendly and enthusiastic, it's a pity that they did not have better support from their manager. The staff were obviously doing their best on a very hectic night, but from an observer perspective they didn't look appreciated. This left a sour taste in my mouth.

Great range and tasty pizza with nice fresh toppings. Especially like the Greek lamb and meat-lovers pizza. The online ordering system is really good too.
Great Italian food. Simple as that.
