Delicious food!! Best lobster I've ever had!!! The ambience is very romantic, food very well presented and elegant, good size portions. WE went there for my birthday (Big group of 12 with 5 kids) and the waitres lovely and Miguel were very nice, they were patience with the kids, and the service was excellent!!!

Friendly staff, Jaimee was amazing in organising our group booking. We had the 'let us feed you' option, and food was delicious and plentiful. The veg risotto was yummmm. Fabulous location and lovely views.

It was a very unpleasant experience. We ordered grilled Octopus as part of our order. The Octopus was definitely a left over; some tomato- based sauce was added and arrived cold on the table. Management did not deny that the food we were served was leftover food.

Very disappointed. Had high expectations which were seriously not lived up to. Cocktails at the bar first off were Bali Beach Bar level. Not really the main point of the restaurant but a bit of a indication of things to come. I’m not going to complain about the quality of the seafood. What we did manage to eat was fresh. But that’s it. Presentation was terrible. More school canteen than top four fish restaurant in Tasmania. Staff clearly didn’t know what they were doing. Unable to explain items on the very basic menu and unsure of how to lay out cutlery and plates on serving. I don’t think we were expecting 5 star silver service, but dumping the main course dishes down randonaly on the table rather than in front of the person who had ordered them is not acceptable. The main gripe for us was the lack of seafood being available from the menu. We had a booking for 7.45pm. Sat down at the table and were told there were no Oysters, no Lobster and none of a couple of the fish on the menu. These were the main items on the menu and they were not available. Unacceptable for a major seafood restaurant in Hobart. Overall, we have a feeling of it being amateur. Mures has a reputation as being a institution for seafood in Tasmania. Unfortunately our experience (and that of different diners as well that night from talking to them) was not that. Very disappointing.

Negatives: very expensive for the portion they service. Pink ling fish is poor quality despite claiming fresh catch. Shared meal dinner is way over priced and is not enough for even one adult. Positive: staff is friendly and manager is understanding and offered to choosing a different meal.

Simply fantastic. We went there on Thursday night at short notice and accommodated with the booking immediately. From the extra friendly staff when we arrive to the service from the whole made it second to none. We had oysters for Entrée which were the best andand oysters we have ever had in our 50 year's. A must if you want to enjoy one of the best restaurants Tasmania has to offer

* Customer service is good and the waitresses and waiter were very polite and accommodating. They waiter and manager listened to the complaints and provided complimentary dessert for my children and a replacement meal for an item that was ordered in the shared meal. * Over priced * Small portion of meals * Great views

We had a great meal of very tasty oysters, scallops, fish and chips and salmon. Lovely white local wines. Service was excellent and restaurant very comfortable.

The food is very good and the service friendly. The view is spectacular as always. My only gripe is if the drink is not on "the list" you an't getting it. I always thought a place with a good wine list would have the skills to make a Negroni or a Spritz. Apparently not.
