Went for a winter solstice 'experience'. Really bad end to a good night. Big cover charge for very poor service and nice food. Not sure what the experience part entailed . Trying to do dark mofo in Sydney has failed miserably.

Great tasting Cantonese food and high level service. Still great despite COVID. Seems to be a lot of model types eating there

My family and I had a fabulous night at Mr Wongs tonight. Our waiter Costa, was a delight and had some of the best service I have ever experienced. The food and atmosphere was impeccable! I highly recommend this experience!

Food is great. However, there is $100 per person deposit which is non-refundable even if you try cancel 2 months before the booking. Its not fair for the consumer.

Absolutely amazing quality of food and selection of drinks and wines, although always extremely busy, staff try their best to accommodate. A must is the mango dessert and the end of the meal together with an Espresso Martini using Patron XO of course ! A little expensive, but worth going and going back to

Amazing food, drinks, decor and service. We had the banquet and the variety and flavours were phenomenal.

Okay this is one of my favourite restaurants in Australia. I've eaten here over a dozen times and the food never disappoints. The steamed dumplings and the crab fried rice are must haves. We took a friend and she loved the decor and vibe of the place as well as the food! Bookings alert! Upside of the new system is ease of on-line without having to que up to get a time to return for your sitting Downside is the non refundable $100 per person booking fee. It does come off your bill but if you are vegan/vegetarian you'll struggle unless you go big on your wine choice. Personally I feel a deposit for no showing is reasonable and happily pay them, however without knowing a place I'd look elsewhere before dropping a hundred per person.

I did not enjoy my dinner. The service was slow. I often could not get any waitstaff's attention. It is terribly slow service. I got up and manually searched for my waitress and that's when I urged her to make the tea. That was 20 minutes after I ordered it. I was especially displeased by the clutter on the table as I ate. The tables are too small to command a $100 per head minimum spend, and as a result the food cannot fit on the table. It's uncomfortable to eat when your teacup is touching your plate, which is 1cm away from other plates. It was difficult to enjoy this experience. The food is mediocre, between bad and ok. Here is a picture of me holding vermicelli noodles that are supposed to be eaten with pippis, but it has been baked into a hard card. I don't imagine anyone would eat this. Everything else is mediocre. The napkins are starched so stiff that it is akin to wiping your face with a sheet of A4 paper. A waiter asked me how I enjoyed the evening, and understood that I was displeased. No one came to inquire. I would not recommend to spend $266 on two people for an unpleasant experience.
