Ipoh Town

Started a new job located at Barangaroo and thought I’d go back to a familiar name for lunch. Unfortunately this wasn’t as good as I remember… I ordered the hainan chicken rice and although the rice portion was generous I don’t think it was very flavoursome. The chicken was very dry too and unfortunately serving size wasn’t great.

The food is ok-ish. The curry given with rice is a bit less, though the meat piece and food quantity overall was decent. Sometimes it is pretty bland. The service is pretty fast though.

Take away chicken laksa. Flavours are a bit bland and small portions. Least the service was fast and the staff nice.

The portion was generous and it was definitely tasty, not sure what oil they used for curry chicken, felt weird after having it.

Ipoh town delivers decent tasting food and is a good option for lunch. I regularly get the laksa and the gravy noodle, both of which are not mind-blowingly delicious but are nonetheless tasty. Don't forget to pick up sambal if you buy laksa. I'll also reiterate one reviewer in that I also paid extra for wontons in my laksa and only received one. Finally, the queue here gets ridiculous so I suggest buying lunch at midday or pre-purchasing with one of those apps for pick up.

Such good food! Especially the Prawn Noodles. However, the lady at the register taking orders was constantly on her phone and was a bit harsh and rude when taking orders from customers. After taking orders from customers, she immediately went back on her phone. :(

Delicious Nasi Lamarck only thing pickles missing!!. Food hall has good verities of cuisine.
