Had a great meal at the grill, steak was delicious and service was very good.

The service was slow, we sat for 15 minutes with only water. It took a few goes to get someone to take our order and they weren’t happy when they finally came over. The food came quickly before our drinks, then the bread came as we were finishing our meal and as it was placed on the table the response from the wait staff was “better late than never”. The food was less than impressive.

WOW! The Chef is truly a magician and the care taken by Amelia was impeccable! We are definitely going back here very soon. Best Birthday dinner for my fiance he loved the experience :)

Ridiculously overpriced for what you receive. The service comes off across as snooty without being prestigious. The chocolate soufflé tasted of cadburys drinking chocolate, I don’t understand the raves for it. You’d have to be bananas to return and pay these prices, or perhaps never tried cheap drinking chocolate before. All their rave reviews appear to be from a decade past — this is no longer relevant. I will pay similar prices at other restaurants that are.

Such a great experience we had here today. We made a booking for 4 of us today for lunch, we arrived 30mins early and they still organised a table for us. From the time we sat down we were looked after very well by every waitress/waiter. We weren’t sure what beer to have as we haven’t had any Italian beers other than peroni. We ended up having 4 different Italian beers and enjoyed them a lot. We also asked the staff to recommend entre’s and mains to us and they all were perfect. We will definitely be back, you have new regulars. It literally felt like we were overseas in Europe with all the different accents of waiters. Thanks for the great meal and awesome hospitality. This place is so much more comfortable than other fine dining experiences I've had in Melbourne. The staff are so calm and professional. Love it.

Charged cancellation fee due to stage 4 lockdown last year. Totally unexpected for everyone and in no ones control. Florentino were not willing to budge. It was less than $50 but a little understanding would have gone a long way. Although being last year it has still left a sour taste.
