Latitude Tower World Square 644 George St Level 1, Shop 11.04 2000, Sydney
Delicious dumplings and wanton soup. Everything freshly made, fast service. The ambience is not the best, but for the price and quality of the food definitely worth it.
Food is always fresh and fast. Not the most relaxing place to have a chat but the food is the winner here.
The Xiao Long Bao soup dumplings here are great, but they literally start packing up at 7:30pm. I know this is Sydney with curfews and all, but this is madness! Can't imagine how much business they'd be missing out on.
Great catch up experience with friends and family. Food was limited when we were there but understandable the limitations in place due to covid
Remarkably underwhelming for all of the hype. Our pot sticker dumplings were barely warmed through and I find the iPad ordering system remarkably tacky. If you came here 8 years ago, there were 3 times as many dishes on the menu. I recommend chefs gallery over this place / better quality and only 3 minutes walk away
Food was pretty good I'm not great without some service for ordering
I believe that the outlets in Shanghai, Taiwan and even Singapore are better than this outlet. Having said that, the meal we had wasn't bad. It is definitely catered for the Caucasians, but we enjoyed it as well.
Din Tai Fung makes me so happy. The dumplings here are best of class. We were expecting a line and a wait to get seated on a Friday night, but we breezed through and grabbed a seat. Food was awesome as always.
The food is amazing. The ingredients are always high quality. Their dumplings are divine and their rice dishes never disappoint. They are always very busy but they have a good system for taking orders. The food is cooked fresh and is worth the wait. You can even watch the chefs make the dumplings to whet your appetite further.
Decent food. Medium sized portions. Moderately priced. Cramped and uncomfortable. The service here is pretty okay, not bad. You use a tablet to place your order. There aren't many vegetarian or vegan options but there a few to choose from. The food is not the best but not bad. It tastes okay but leaves a lot to be desired. My companion did not enjoy his chicken dish. It was quite dry and flavourless. He enjoyed the dumplings which were moist and fresh and flavourful. The fried rice can made vegan and tastes really nice. The vegetable steamed bun was dry and had no flavour. The location is good and pretty and inviting but it is quite cramped and squashy and uncomfortable inside when you sit down. Overall a decent place but I probably won't come back.
