See All8 Quay St Shop TG6, Haymarket 2000, Sydney
Taiwanese food that's quick, full flavoured and fast...oh and cheap too! $11 will get you pork on rice, a hot & sour soup plus a side dish that could include green veggies, crispy tofu or chilli fish. Plenty for two people to chow down on! Really yummy and a regular lunch spot.

Tea+ is a great place to chill and hang out. There is a wide range of predominantly Taiwanese-style food. It was regrettable that Tommy H and LeeLoo were unable to try out more dishes, but there’s no doubt that they will be back to try other selections such as Takoyaki fish balls, or the Pork Bowl. The drink size is a bit intimidating, but the flavours were all authentic and creative. It might be a good idea to share a drink next time.
1 Macquarie Pl Shop G20-G21 Gateway 2000, Sydney
Good variety for a streamlined location. If you load on the dim sum the price can rise quickly. However, you can have a great lunch for $15. Food quality is similar to other locations.
9-13 Hay St Haymarket 2000, Sydney
Always big lines. Very tasty. Much nicer than I expected - I don't typically like Taiwanese cuisine. Good and cheap. Recommended
After discovering Din Tai Fung in Sydney on a previous trip, I went to the single location in the USA - Arcadia. And while delicious, the ones in Sydney are fantastic. So much so, I am now returning with my wife and daughter. Highly recommend the pork dumplings, bacon and greenbeans and the veggie rice.
