Groovy little gastropub in Hobart with extensive selection of authentic japanese food and drinks. If there’s an izakaya like this in the city I live in, I would keep coming back to chill and dine with friends. 👌🏻
Great venue and welcoming staff. Fantastic up stairs function room. Casual yet professional organisation allows for the proper handling of parties, special occasions etc.
Good food and good choices of drinks. Good vibes for family and friend who enjoy couple of drinks over food.
Excellent as expected from the other reviews. Service was top quality, food very creative and different to many other Japanese restaurants in Aus and cocktails were sound. Would recommend, would return. Thank you
Great atmosphere, good service. King fish was amazing. I think food is good but minus the ramen. Ramen was extremely disappointing. Specifically requested for noodles not to be soft and to be hard, had a discussion with wait staff about it. The noodles came out super soft! Broth wasn't great either. Far from Japan ramen, I have no idea what others are talking about.
Brilliant. Tasty. Fun. High energy. Would be a regular if I lived in Hobart.
Great food and atmosphere here. Can't comment on how authentic the food is, but I can say it's always delicious. Expect to pay a little more for what you get. I grabbed Karaage chicken and the pink eye potatoes on my last visit. Both were delicious. Add some rice and a drink to make it a little more filling.
Wowww this Japanese restaurant is insaaane!! Very similar flavours to authentic restaurant in Japan. Book before 6pm and you get half price oysters. The vibe is amazing. Food is superb! Would recom the bluefin sashimi is a winner. I will recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to walk away satiated with high quality Japanese food!
Okay food, not entirely authentic and also a bit overpriced. Can easily cook at home. Ordered drinks but drinks never arrived. Funny they call themselves a bar
Oh my god!! The food, service, ambiance and overall excellence is incredible. The staff were amazing especially Ellis and Nana who’s attention to detail was second to none. If you don’t dine here then you’ve missed out on the best Japanese experience this side of Osaka. Five stars all the way
