Good place for hanging out with friends and family. Good price; however, the amount of food is quite small.

Food is unbelievable, this is a transcendent dining experience you will not forget. The staff are amazing and friendly. They also only play certified bangers. Order the whole menu, you will not regret.

Bar Wa is a must stop if I do say so myself. You come in and are truly immersed by the environment. Trust me when I say pictures do not do it justice. A thing to note is that it does get quite busy in the evening, so a booking is essential for the perfect seating. We had a dozen of the mixed oysters, okonomiyaki, sashimi with freshly grated wasabi and two cocktails. But it didn't stop there, we were so impressed by the friendliness of staffs and cleanliness, we came back for ramen and ice cream. The house made black sesame ice cream was hands down my favourite ice cream of all time and I've been to the likes of Pipapippo, Messina and Picolina. That says a lot!! Price wise, expect to spend an extra $ there - you're really paying for the experience here. It's one of Hobart's gem and I daresay you've wasted a trip if you do not visit this spot !!

Rude, arrogant and unhelpful staff who refused to allow us less than a 2.5 hr slot for dinner as it would 'put too much pressure on the kitchen'. We were a group of 3 women who just wanted a light, casual dinner. If it takes that long to serve a bowl of noodles then there's something seriously wrong. Leave this place and its bad attitude well alone and check out The Den on Salamanca Wharf instead: charming, cosy, amazing food and great staff.

One of the best bar in hobart. This place has really good quality food and various options of drinks. They have 2nd floor as well. Many table than it looks like at the front. 2 bars. Good toilet. COVID 19 hand sanitiser is ready at the front door.
