Been to Gypsy Tapas a few times and going there again tonight. It really is one of my favorite restaurants in Fremantle and the best tapas I have had in Perth. If you love tapas I highly recommend trying Gypsy's out.

I went looking specifically for a pub that played live acoustic music that one does not need to shout over, with a friendly atmosphere and character. We found it at the Newport. Everyone was friendly and it had a pioneering type feel to it. The acoustic singer / guitarist was very talented and an ideal compliment to our conversation. We met several friendly locals in the course of that one drink, being a testament to the atmosphere. This was at 3pm however, and I imagine on a Saturday night the atmosphere would be markedly different. Still, Newport will be visited again should we return to Fremantle.

Great coffee with reasonable price :) Secured Free WiFi is bonus (Ask password to one of girls). Next to Tyre Power Fremantle which is a great tyre shop in Freo. It will be great place to wait for changing your tyres.

I super enjoy this bar, great selection of beer and quiet enough from the main street to enjoy it without the crowds. Highly recommend.

Food was good, served reasonably quickly. They put the ceiling fans on when they didn't need to, which cooled down the pizza. Also they asked us if we wanted water, and instead of tap water they gave us bottled water at $5 on our bill. They should mention whether it is free or paid!

I visited this restaurant for lunch. It is a lot bigger than I thought, very lively with lots of waitresses so we did not have to wait long to be served. Once seated, we ordered the spiced tempeh for starters which was excellent, live pizza with salad and laksa curry. Everything was superb. Tiramisu cake for dessert was lovely. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Very friendly service and excellent selection of ready made and made to order bagels and sandwiches. The hot mocha is simply divine and the orange juice is freshly squeezed. Spacious hall with simple and cozy decor. it's a pity it has no comfortable outdoor seating.
Great food, VERY CONSISTENT, great place to go if you don't mind eating somewhere that's overcrowded
