An enjoyable plant-based food and wine restaurant. Loved the vibe of the dining space. Staff were friendly and explained each dish in-depth. I thought the feed me menu was excellent value. Highlight dishes were the chestnut gnocchi and roasted heirloom carrots. I'm not vegan but would happily return. I also recommend their wattleseed whiskey sour.

Mother is one of the finest vegan/gluten-free restaurants in the world. It's also a great place to take non vegans (to show them what is possible). Fairly expensive but totally worth it. I make a point to visit whenever I'm in Perth. (Pictured: chestnut mushroom gnocchi 🍄 & creme caramel).

I was very impressed with all of the dishes I tried. Each one was delicious with well balanced and unique flavours, and the presentation was absolutely stunning. The standout dish for me was the gnocchi, which was perfectly cooked and coated with a light cream sauce. The corn was also spectacular, and was the first time I had ever eaten a succulent (pig face) which was surprisingly delicious! I also highly recommend you try the mushroom & truffle pate and the hot elixirs!

I have wanted to visit this restaurant for years but never got round to it until yesterday. It’s a bit of a drive from where I live. I’m so glad we made the effort. The food was absolutely delicious and my husband had 3 different glasses of wine and was blown away by the quality of all of them. The portions are on the smaller side for my husband (fine for me and normal people) as he’s a big eater so we took a few raw cakes away with us on the way out - all very good. We’ll definitely be back again.

I ordered the humus which looked amazing as my friends had just arrived at the table. She let me taste here’s after I ordered mine and I found it too salty for me. I called the waitress over to change my order to something else. When this dish arrived I also just had a small bite and could not eat it as it was simple to salty for me. When we left my friend payed the bill for us and she was charged for both dishes. I found this not very nice and would never go back there again. I have been a regular client before and the food was always good.

Myself being vegan and eating at Mother was amazing! Great variety of yummy tasting share tappers and to top it off vegan wines, sparkling and much more! Great service by a lovely girl Elsie and the lovely gentleman behind the bar! Great atmosphere and will definitely be going back! Most of all....no animals harmed 🙏🏻❤️ just my style! More great places like this please

Highly recommended. Food was amazing with so many options. Love the fact that this restaurant is proud of being environmental friendly and are trying their best to have as less impact on the environment as they possibly can. Looking forward to come back again.
