Gypsy Tapas House

Great menu selection ranging from vegetarian/vegan friendly to seafood and meat items. They also offer set degustation menus $50 per person for vegetarians and $55 per person which includes veg/seafood/meat. Their tapas food is delicious and love the variety. Plenty of drinks to choose from. Good atmosphere both during the day and at night. Staff are friendly, attentive and gave excellent recommendation on their favourite menu items.

Absolutely DELICIOUS! Everything we had was incredible, perfect portions to try different dishes and flavours. Drinks were also really good. Would absolutely recommend the Gnocchi and the jackfruit tacos! The service was amazing as well, very friendly and helpful. The place is super cute, outdoor and we didn’t stay for the live music but looked pretty good! Definitely going back.

We loved everything about our dinner at Gypsy Tapas. The wine, food and especially the chocolate mouse were awesome. And just a great vibe all round. Highly recommend if you are in Freo

Really good! A great range of tapas offerings, with really friendly staff and a great atmosphere. The live band adds to the the ambience and sets a lively tone to the restaurant. It gets pretty busy on a Saturday night, so make sure you book.

Love this place! Only recently introduced to it but have now been twice and look forward to more visits. We went at Halloween and it was great seeing all the staff participating by dressing up. We found the food delicious, staff attentive and delightful and great to have the music included. If you haven't been I can recommend it's worth giving it a go!

Beautiful food and great service. My daughter has a serious nut allergy and the waitstaff were really knowledgeable about the ingredients in all the dishes, which was very reassuring. A lovely evening.

Went here to get a meal as it had good reviews, turned up and instantly got judged cause we were slightly dressed up, the waiter then asked why we were so dressed up because she had a bet on with her colleagues. Simply rude and have never had this happen to us before.

In summary, the atmosphere is not bad, good place for a date, food is well presented. Unfortunately, the taste of almost all the dishes is horrible, we had 10 dishes and i think only 1 dish was okay, the rest were terrible. In addition, it is over priced. The only reason why the place received a 2 stars review instead of one, because after i tasted arguably the worse margarita in my life, they agreed to swap it with something else. Ps: don't mix hummus with zaatar, THEY DON'T GO TOGETHER!!!
