Busy as hell on a Saturday night, and we had to wait for a long while to get served but once we did, all was good. Lady had Lasagne, I had soup. I could have swam in it. A huge ass bowl and bread, and amazing it was. Both of us loved it, and the atmosphere in Lygon street, directly opposite the cinema and borders was rather cool. Service could have been faster and better but all in good, prices were reasonable. I'll be back.

Actually it deserves a 5 stars for a pizza in Melbourne, but as I am from Naples I must be severe. If you agree to spend 20 bucks or more for a pizza then you will appreciate this place. The Pizza they call Pizza DOC comes with excellent ingredients even if Mozzarella is not at all Mozzarella di Bufala, but a defrosted Fior di Latte. If you know what's the difference between Mozzarella di Bufala Campana e Fior di Latte you know what I mean otherwise for you it will be not such an issue. The not-at-all fresh Mozzarella is something I can easily understand. Mozzarella is meant to be consumed within no more than 3/4 days since it's done, and there would be no market here to justify its daily production. What I really cannot understand is the electric oven, I mean there are horrible pizza maker on Lygon St with a Woodfire Oven. Pizza DOC you really need a Woodfire oven then I'll pay you even 25 bucks for a Pizza.

WOW, the burgers here are exceptional, they are also willing to customise to suit your tastes. I had their Atomic to my delight and then topped it off with a triple cheeseburger with Nutella and peanut butter. Their alcoholic milkshakes are incredibly overpriced given the value of the rest of the menu. But overlooking that I don't have anywhere I would rather have a burger currently! The peanut butter version of the Waffle Stack is also a great way to top a meal too and I can't wait to go back for more!

Great value for money and exceptional service. I'm gluten intolerant and was most impressed by the lady out the front who was able to point out EVERY gluten free dish on their menu. Once we were inside I was stunned by the hussle and bussle of the place (made me dizzy to watch), yet the wait staff were professional and attentive. As we left the manager on the night even shook our hand with thanks.

Great place to go for some quick, simple Italian food. Love how busy it gets - it's a sign of a good reputation and good food.

One of my favourite bars. Awesome selection of beer and Parmigianas. Unfortunately it is a bit pricey. Hey, it's worth it IMHO every now and then.

I bought a really nice vintage edition of Jekyll and Hyde from here, very good condition and reasonable price. The boy that helped me find the book was very friendly and polite. Definitely recommend!
