I was extremely challenged by the Pork Shank. It was an appropriate size to match the 1L steins of German draught beer. The ambiance is very traditional and cozy, despite it being a rather large restaurant. Live entertainment was fantastic. Dancing, singing, live music -- all traditional German of course. I got the impression you need to book to get a seat, so call in advance.

Some of the smoothest most aromatic coffee you'll find in Melbourne. Not for the hardcore caffeine addicts! Affogato ice cream is the perfect flavour blend.

From the warm welcome as you walk in to the quality of the food and service, this restaurant is the new hottest ramen place to bring your friends to in town. Come early in the evening to avoid a line to get in, but once you're in you can't help but feel at home, without ever setting foot in Hakata, Japan!

This cafe is brilliant, excellent selection of coffe at an OK price but the roasting is par excellence! Great place to read, write and catch up with friends, family or an un-huried business meeting.

Late night dessert with 3 scoops on a waffle cone: pistachio (good), baccio (ho hum), nutella swirl (when is nutella not good?). Definitely one of the best gelato around town.

Had a lovely meal in here, food was really, really nice. Was let down by down by a young guy doing all the service on his own who was did nothing wrong just was unfortunately quite miserable and really depressed looking, as did some of the other staff in the back. Don't get me wrong they did no one thing wrong, just amazing what happens when no smiles are around and how it affects the atmosphere. The whole place just felt like someone had just had a big argument. Kinda weird. Anyway, sure it'll be fine when we go in again, and truly was great, and a great location

Good selection of noodles soup . Breakfast congee to midnight dinner .

Wow, I didn't think I was going to get through it but I just couldn't stop, it was the best T-bone I have ever eaten with such a rich natural flavour. The Malbec wine that I had with it went so well I think it was called humberto something... We had this great chocolate mousse to finish off a perfect night. Also thanks to Milli our waitress who really made it feel authentic with her Argentine flare

This place was an amazing find - it's hidden away down an alley off Flinders Lane and we thought we were heading into an Italian Restaurant - to our delight it turns out it's South American and serves delicious food from Peru. We had a five course tasting menus and the colour and imagination in the food and it's presentation was brilliant. Service was excellent.

Overall a good experience. Service could have been better (appetizer plates were still on the table when mains were being served). Still, friendly staff and environment. Personally I found the experience at 400 Gradi (the original Gradi restaurant in Brunswick) to have slightly tastier food and service, it was less commercial. However, for a large group, the crown restaurant was more suitable. Food was good, chocolate pudding was amazing at both restaurants. Must have, if you love rich chocolate with soft ice cream!
Love the home brewed beer here as it's very unique and the bar/lounge area on the first floor is just cosy, rustic and in style. The bar are on the ground floor however is a bit rowdy especially some of its patrons on fri/sat nights. Nevertheless, I have brought my visitors from abroad to this place many times over the year and I have been receiving good feedbacks!
