Top shelf food and experience

We walked in to Tipo00 on a Tuesday night as regular foot traffic, and were able to secure a table either inside or outside. We opted to dine outside. Oysters were fresh, and the red wine vinaigrette complimented them well. The Squid was also nice, with the standout being the charred tentacles. Mains were very generous servings, with both of us just barely able to finish our meals. The pricing is also excellent, for the calibre of food being served, Tipo00 is consistently cheaper than competitors. My one complaint would be that dining on the table closest to Elizabeth St, it can be hard to see your food. The only source of light comes from behind, so you end up blocking the light.

Food is superb. Service is fantastic. Just enough. Not in your face. Bookings necessary as walk ins fill up fast (bench seats or outdoors are the only walk ins)

WHAT DELICIOUS FOOD. My partner and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary here with the Chef's Menu. We've done many chef/feed me menus at other restaurants and thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. 2 snacks, 2 starts, 2 pastas, a side, and 2 desserts. We also received our own individual bowls for each pasta. We found the servings to be quite generous compared to other chef menus. The dessert is the best I've ever had 😍

This was my first experience at here and I couldn't have for a better experience. Booked online , we were reserved a nice table by the window and seated quickly. great food

Really good food. Highly recommended. Not a single dish has disappointed. Ask the staff for their specials that aren’t on the menu. The crab tagliolini was so flavoursome, absolutely delicious. Can be quite busy, be sure to call ahead to reserve a table! Staff were so friendly, helpful and polite. Could not fault anywhere. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The Chefs Menu was a great choice with plenty of food. The wine suggested was the perfect pairing. We will return.

Probably the best pastas I’ve had in the Melbourne CBD. Decent variety of wine to go with our pastas! Lovely and friendly staff members inside out! We had our meal sitting outdoor with fresh breeze, and the staffs made sure we were well accommodated with our toddlers which was really nice of them all. We really appreciate the nice service and enjoyed it very much!

What a fantastic restaurant! We had the lunch set menu and it was absolutely delicious! Amazing flavors, great variety of dishes and friendly staff & service!
