Your opinion on this restaurant will probably depend on how you handle cheesy. A corny version of Bavaria right here in Sydney. Serving staff clad in leiderhosen and 'wenching' outfits are generally very friendly (if not always prompt). There is often live oompa pa music which you will either find fun or it will drive you crazy. The food can be pricey but some of the portions are large enough to share (don't be afraid to ask, we were advised by a waitress to share the cheese spatzle between two and she was right). Kids are given colouring sheet and pencils to keep them busy and there is a separate kids' menu.

I came during its soft opening and had prawn noodle soup. The broth was delicious. Full of flavour. The waitresses were attentive and friendly. The decor was pretty cool from stencil graffiti outside and the seafood aquariums to door and window ways inside. Will have to return for some Satay chicken

You had me at Viking bar. This place is not just a gimmick though; a focus on quality, warm environment, and genuine creativity will keep me coming back for more. For the quality the prices are reasonable, though I only had bar snacks (the Trencher is ungodly good) the portions are good value. Vegans beware: if you're going for an event have a snack first. If you love meat, whiskey, or have always wanted to drink a horn of mead, then this is your Valhalla.

I attended the wedding of Kym & Aaron.M on Sat 28 April. I just wanted to thank the waiter who called himself "Summers", who helped my friend with towels after I accidentally spilt a drink on her dress. He was very quick to act, professional & very courteous. On another note, the food & service all night was exceptional. We had a ball! Thank you

Sydney's version of the not-for-profit vegan cafe community is just as good as it's Melbourne counterparts. Lentil As Anything's pay-as-you-feel philosophy is a welcome addition to the King Street dining strip, with great service from friendly volunteer staff delivering delicious, generously portioned vegan food and chai (when available).
Sadly this bakery has seen better days its looking dirty and the staff have become rude and unpleasant. Needs some work to be what it used to be
