Vegan yum cha with flair
Consistently enjoy yum cha lunches here. The steamed dumplings are a standout. Recommended for non vegans too.
These were some of the nicest dumplings I’ve had, the mulled wine was absolutely gorgeous, the tiny zucchini flowers were so tasty and the skewers were delectable. Deserts so rich I feel wealthy for just admiring them! Staff were lovely and the ambience was spot on for a romantic atmosphere. Beautiful outdoor area, cannot wait to come back again in the warmer months!!!
Bodhi has been saved in my favorites for a long time but I don’t know the exact reason why I haven’t tried it yet. Maybe it because I don’t want to go there along and people around me they are not that into vegan food. Anyway, finally I found someone who wants to try it with me! Stella and I ordered a crispy silk tofu, sweet potato gnocchi and a salad (I cannot remember which one). The waitress asked us if we want rice for the tofu, we refused since we don’t wanna too much carbs in the evening. But that was a big mistake we made that night. The tofu is salty! But not in a bad way I think, it will definitely go very well with rice! The gnocchi is soft and creamy, I love the tenderness of them.I cannot remember the salad though, but I think we both impressed by the combination of that salad. Haha, on that night we had two bottles of sparking water, I assume it is because of the tofu. When it comes to the price, it is about $40/person and I do love the atmosphere very much, it is so romantic and it makes you feel close to nature as well.
I have been vegan for 16 years... I have never tasted food so flavourful, incredible, tasty, bring-me-to-my-knees delicious in all my life!! Oh! The texture! The sauces! Yes. YES!! You have to go here! Don't be put off by the price. I promise you, one bite, and you will be screaming "TAKE MY MONEY!" We had the tempura prawns, crispy skewers, and duck sliders. Every dish was to die for!
Delicious food in a somewhat secret area near the church. Service is good but they did forget our rice. A little expensive for what it is.
Amazing food, staff and ambiance. The vegan food here will make you give up your non-veg diet.
What a gorgeous place! Even my non-vegan husband loved it too. All the food was very nice, great service, next time we just have to pace ourselves a bit better.
Love the food and vibe at this place. Each dish outdoes the last, the service is great and the wines are awesome. Hardest part is finding the place as it is hidden in a back street which makes it all the better. Only thing that could be improved is the size of and space between tables, but it is a small price to pay for a place this good!
The food is delicious, definitely recommend the curry! Also they were accommodating for us
