The food is absolutely fantastic, the service is very friendly but very slow. We have been dining here for years and keep coming back for the food. We always book for a table of 10 or more and often the service is so so slow and they're so disorganised but they're always very pleasant and we can't fault the fantastic food. But please stop your kitchen staff from smoking cigarettes out the front of your restaurant , it's not a good look at all. But I always look forward to our next meal. 😀

I am going to be a regular for sure now. Our entree was dim sums and spring rolls - great. Main was satay pork, honey king prawns, lemon chicken and special fried rice. Everything was tasty, we really enjoyed it. My partner said he much prefered it than other more expensive Chinese restaurants we went to in the area previously. What I enjoyed most is the atmosphere. Low key, wonderful staff (even the chef comes out smiling and says hello) and a wonderful family atmosphere. I can not say enough how much I loved this place. I was dragged out for dinner but was just in love with this place, did not want to leave. Left with a couple of moon cakes, yum. We were lucky enough to get samples of their moon cakes. I won't rave on anymore. But recommend everyone tries this place. :)

Experienced excellent service at this restaurant for lunch yesterday, accompanied by great, tasty food. The steamed prawn dumplings were yummy, as was the prawn hot pot and mongolian beef. Its our 3rd meal there, would go back anytime and recommend it.

It was refreshing to experience authentic Chinese cuisine rather than the western Chinese food I'm used to. The atmosphere was soft and warm with light Jazz music playing. The food was exceptional and I would highly recommend trying Tasting China because everyone at my table was so impressed with the quality of the experience.

Awesome food - in terms of both quality and quantity. I had been there for a few times - the quantity of their dish is 2~3 times more than what other restaurant around this area could offer. Yet taste of the food matches what I expect from a 4~5 star restaurant in Beijing. Sometimes I had to wait for a few minutes before their staff could get to me - maybe they need to hire more as they look very busy most of the times.

Consistently good flavour and service.
The food takes awhile (I waited close to 30 minutes) but that's because this packed little restaurant is very popular for dining in and take away. The wait is well worth it as the food is definitely fresh and good quality. The eponymous dumplings were a treat though the sauce is nothing special. I also had beef noodles which hit the spot. The women who run the Dumpling Inn are just wonderful - welcoming and smiling to customers and to one another. I like food from places where the people who work there are kind to one another. I would definitely go back to try more dishes.
