Absolutely delicious and good portions. It takes a while to get used to the quirky owner, but she is good fun.
New to Canberra from the asian food capital of Australia, Darwin. Thought we'd try the local. Yeah not real good. Ordered the chicken satay sticks. Burnt. Inedible. Dry. No stay sauce. Crispy chicken was a schnitzel and the pepper sauce was watery. Ordered vegitarian chow mien. Tasted burnt and greasy. Daughter loved the vegitarian spring rolls so there's that. Sweet and sour pork was as expected. Had better chinese at a regional Country town food Court.
This place used to be good but the last 12 months has shown it to be a disgrace on the classic Chinese food. Very rude, over priced, small serves and the food is fit for the bin. Do yourself a favor and go to the scullin shops, much better in all ways. I won't return to this poor excuse for Chinese.
Fast friendly service, food was great and the staff was very nice and cheerful. Will deffinetly go back and highly recommed.
Just got home delivery.. Dry chilli beef is not good just beef not crispy, honey king prawns were soggy, whole meal is cold... Flavours are good but just a let down with the outcome
Great food and reasonable price. The service is a hit and miss, best to avoid eat in and stick with takeaways. Last experience felt like a house of terror as one lady was being rude to all customers with no exception. I felt sorry for the owner after seeing at least 4 customers walked out or hang up the phone from poor customer service.
Nice food and very friendly host.
Dim sums where very dry. Our combination soup had a hair in it and we ordered special fried rice and got plain. After ringing to let them know we where told that next time we would receive those dishes free. After being a long time customer I wanted to give them a second chance. On calling to give my order I was told that they couldn’t give me the free meals that I needed to speak with the girl whom I spoke to. After stating that it shouldn’t matter a hair in your food is as bad as it can get. He wouldn’t budge on giving the replacement meals I told him we wouldn’t be returning and have now found an awesome Chinese at Scullin shops. Sue’s Kitchen 5 star.
Got takeaway tonight and the food was delicious. Fried dumpling here never fails me and neither does chilli beef - crispy and just the right amount of sweetness. Delivery was swift and food was still hot.
The food here is wonderful,
