Golden King Chinese Restaurant

Had husbands birthday dinner there today, 14/04. It was so relaxing. Food was just perfect. Staff was very nice!!!

A friend and I had dinner here tonight. We ordered two main dishes and fried rice..The main dishes were barely warm when they were served as if they had been left sitting out for a while. We informed the waitress that the dishes weren't hot enough.. No apology from anyone. Avoid this restaurant and go to another Chinese restaurant in Phillip or Woden.. A waste of money for cold food..

Wow this place is amazing. The best chinses iv had And will do gluten free dishes for you just have to ring prior to ordering and ask them to make it gluten free for you

Our family loves the Golden King! We consider ourselves good judges of top quality, fresh, hot and totally old school Chinese and this rates in our top 3 in Auz (and we’ve tried them from top to bottom and coast to coast)

My favourite take away place. I always call in advance to be sure I don't wait that long. Their chicken wings are my favourite and their spring rolls are really good. I prefer this over the other Asian restaurants near the area as the servings are heaps more and it's quite affordable. Try their lunch specials and you'll get your money's worth.

The food is tasty, sometimes a bit oily but great overall. They could work on their delivery timing though. I mostly order take aways and I almost always end up waiting for 20-30 minutes.

Snail delivery time. 1.5 hours minimum. Decent food.

Ordered on menu log. Delivery took over 2 hours despite the restaurant saying multiple times the food was only 10 min away. When the food arrived it was missing sauces and one dish.

We had great lunch - great food and perfect timing. Sweet and sour pork and stir fry king prawns with bazil. Also for entree satay chicken skewers which didnt make it to be in photo taken - hungry.., but they were tasty

Best Chinese around this area. Lunch specials are excellent value and taste great. Only place I will get Chinese from.
