Ordered take away from Diamond Chinese. Very fast service, only took around 10 minutes. Take away was considerately packed; Crispy honey chicken had it’s sauce seperate so the chicken would stay crispy on the trip home. Short soup bagged tightly to prevent spilling. Deliciously crispy honey chicken and tasty short soup. Glad to have found an affordable tasty Chinese in Belconnen. I hope to return to try more dishes.

Mixed reviews so hoped for the best but wish I hadn’t. Chefs special hot and Spicey chicken was just a container of bones. Their special fried rice has peas and carrots in it. Won’t bother again- extremely disappointed.

Really enjoyed the three dishes we had, and they weren't bulked out with lots of veggies like other places. Food came out really quickly. A hidden little gem.

Best hot and sour soup

Tasty food, but had to wait two hours to get it. Ordered at 6.30pm, estimated delivery time was 7.45pm. Phoned at 8.05pm to see where my order was and was told it had been delivered... huh? After explaining it hadn’t, was then told it was being cooked now and would be another 20 minutes. Offered a 10% discount on a future order after complaining, turned that down as doubt I’ll be ordering from here again. Final delivery time was 8.25pm.

best chinese on the north side of canberra. since our local chinese restaurant closed in melba we have tried 5 different chinese restaurants. all were Ok but then we found the diamond chinese restaurant. Great food and great price. highly recommend it. peter

Good place. Great fish. A bit expensive. Sizes of the food are really small, like other Shanghaiese good.

Eaten here about a half dozen times. Food has always been excellent for its type, service is great, and portions are decent.

I regularly order takeaway from this restaurant. My experience has always been positive. Prompt delivery, food nice and hot. The dishes are a bit hit and miss - some dishes significantly better than others so I'd definitely give this restaurant another chance if your experience wasn't that great in the first try. I recommend crispy chicken and guilin noodles.
