Offered a counter table upon checking in, which wasn’t an issue as I often get counter table seats when dining in solo. However that counter table has a peculiar design - way too high, table top actually reaching a standard male Aussie’s chest. Requested(as humbly as I could)for another seat but got a rude retort by the waitress saying:” I told u already!” End up being cramped in a corner with another solo customer n we were barely 1 metre apart( believe this violates the physical distancing rule by safe work Australia) when there was clearly another empty table that can sit 4 right next to us.

Food is getting better and I like the signature Currey fish head and Ayam Goreng (Fried Chicken). Curry Laksa also another recommended dish. If you are fans of curry fish head, please call to book to avoid queue and disappointment.

Pretty good prawn noodles and hainanese chicken rice. Service was alright- straightforward but the staff could do with a bit more friendliness

I go regularly to get their hainan chicken rice. Chicken is cooked beautifully and their sauce and condiments are very nice. They are also very consistent, taste the same everytime. Very good value and friendly and responsive staff

The waiting is far too long. Only order one dish take more than 30 min. They cannot manage the order. Not worth the wait unless you have spare 2 hrs. hurry

Great value for Malaysian cuisine. Most dishes below $15. Hainanese Chicken rice was delicious, and a generous portion. The prawn Mee was really spicy (they so warn you!), and the char kway teow tasted more like a beef hor fun than the authentic Penang version. Service is friendly and efficient and there is plenty of seating.

A new Malaysian restaurant in Chatswood’s District Dining Hall. The presentation is quite bland but tastewise is quite decent.

Service was fast and efficient. Just order at the counter and they'll bring it out to your table when ready. The Ya-Malaysian chicken nasi lemak was delicious! A sweet and spicy sauce over deep fried chicken. Their sambal is quite sweet but goes really well with rice. Chicken laksa was not bad but the chicken was a bit dry. Curry puff pastry was super flakey and buttery. Overall a good meal!
