Level G, 477 Pitt Street Haymarket 2000, Sydney
Average yum cha restaurant. Clean place and not as noisy. I love their custard lava buns 🥰
I am so disappointed with the service of the restaurant. The managers ignore the customers and when I asked for tea that guy immediately ignored me and walked away without a word. Another time was when the lady manager was being called over and glanced at us a few times and then proceeded to ignore us. The workers make themselves look busy by ignoring others. If you want to have a nice yum cha experience I would not recommend having it at Zilver as it is the worst place to go.
If I could give 0 stars 1 would. The entire time my friends and I were there we were completely ignored by the staff on the floor. The food we ordered was served to the wrong table and when I tried to speak to the manager about how I was not happy with the service today he completely ignored me and asked if I wanted to pay with card or cash. 100% would not come again and would not recommend.
a very strong yumcha lineup, you have to ask HARD for the chilli sauce and the fresh chilli and soy sauce combo. Get 3x coke zeros you will need it - HELLO SALT! everything here is really good, fresh, turnover high, fish in the tank look miserable, yay capitalism!
Pros: Great food. Fast service. Cons: A little expensive. No parking available. Still, this is one of our favourite restaurants. Recommended.
Atrocious service at yumcha. Nearly had congee poured over me, and the lady literally THREW the bowls and spoons on the table for us to use. All they care about is stamping onto the card after just throwing the food onto the table. Had hot water dripping over on to our laps. The food trolleys never comes around and we had to order the food separately (which either never came or they got the order wrong and didn’t care) Food wasn’t even that great, will never come again.
Superb food... amazing services at reasonable price. Wedding .. birthday.. small party are great here. We had amazing scallops, roast pork, scallops and many more. Definitely recommend this place! Or at least try their yumcha.. and you will be back!
First time coming back since Covid and still as busy tho not at precovid levels yet. Said they don’t take bookings but saw some groups who came through and said they booked so was bit confusing. Smaller groups eg 2-4 are easier to get a table. Longer wait times for larger groups. Food still really good, generous portions. Dessert variety has reduced though. Still my favourite yum cha place
One of the best yumcha in the city. Large place, plenty of seats, good service & decent quality of food!
One of the best yum cha places in Sydney
