Waited 45mins for our food even though it wasn't busy. Staff was rude and impatient when we asked for an update on the food. Wouldn't recommend.
Ordered a beef burger and fish and chips, and it was the worst meal I ever had. The food was burnt and the fish and chips had no salt on chips and no flavour in the fish. The burger was just horrible. The bacon in the burger was charred, the eggs were sour and the bun was burnt. The worst dining experience I have ever had.
Brekky tasty but service slow.
Waited a long time. Burnt bread but also cold. Lacked in sauce on breakfast burger. Iced coffee came out as only milk. Dirty decor. Would NEVER return.
We stayed overnight in Katoomba during our holiday in Australia and needed to do a load of laundry. While our laundry was drying at the coin laundry, we popped in to The Hatterβs Cafe for some warm beverages. I got a chai latte made with coconut milk and hubby got a flat white. Both were very good. The waitress was friendly. Not a lot of people in here before 7 but the people at the other occupied table seemed to really enjoy their food.
Mitch had very good customer service . My boyfriend finds him hot :(.
Baby it's cold outside... so a warming coffee here tastes even better than usual. I had a lovely coffee and my partner an egg bacon roll which he said was very nice, with crispy bacon on Turkish bread. Decor adds to the mountain experience, not overdone but just right. Great lunch/light lunch menu. Cake selection also suggests a warming comfort experience eg sticky date and bread butter puddings. Not as expensive as you might think either.
Incredibly overpriced for bland food and stomach troubles. For three meals and three drinks came to 72 dollars. The salmon pesto pasta was oily and barely had any pesto in it. The salmon tasted almost off and had bone fragments and tasted like it came from the can. The fish and chips came with no salt and were pretty tasteless. The meal tasted like it was reheated before served. The ham and cheese sandwich tasted bitter. After the meal our stomachs gave us cramps.
Service too slow. Nearly 1hour wasted and food presented cold. Truthfully.
Food was lovely, plentifully. Surroundings were peaceful, unrushed pleasant atmosphere and nicely priced.
