9-13 Hay St Shop 6. 1909 Dining Precinct, level 3, Market City Shopping Centre, Haymarket 2000, Sydney
Very friendly service, great hot pot experience
We are regulars at the Dolar Shop. Me, hubby and our little girl. This place is consistently above the rest. Super accommodating to babies and families. Service is top notch and food is always the freshest of any hotpot in Sydney. They have taken hotpot to another level. Highly highly recommend!
So so SOOOO delicious so good the best restaurant on earth SOOO GOOOD
Excellent. Service, food quality, ambience, soup base (silver is awesome!)... Everything. Reasonable price for the quality too! Easily my fave non-spicy hotpot restaurant. Will try the spicy soup never time...
This is the best hotpot place I’ve had in Sydney. They serve very high quality wagyu beef that just melts in your mouth. The soups had great flavours too and the menu had a great variety. Would highly recommend it.
Really good hot pot, friendly helpful staff and very very good produce. The broths were amazing, meat was very good and the seafood was super fresh. We will definitely be back, well done to the whole team
First time trying the dolar store and it did not disappoint. Service was nothing less than great and quality of the ingredients were so fresh compared to other standard hotpot restaurants. The broth was so rich and delicious!
Top quality hot pot! I love dining here, service is great too. The only thing I could fault would be the fact that they don’t have fish egg balls with roe on their menu.
Very solid hotpot place. Food are fresh and delicious for sure. Service was great. The variety of sauces are on point. But the pot itself seems not heating up fast and it will automatically turn down the heat at some point. Maybe just prevent it to over cook? And the price... if you are coming here hungry, need to be prepared for around $100 each for quality food. Although there’s a cheaper options around. But, in general, $50 each is very easy. Overall it’s a decent place for good hotpot. But there are some restaurants with a bit lower quality food, much cheaper price to choose.
Long wait even though I’ve already made a reservation. But it’s worth it! Good ambience and interior design. I enjoyed the silvery soup and the tomato soup base very much. Shrimp pate and the wagyu beef platter were quite nice! (Long wait for the beef platter though...) Anyway, the personal hot pot makes it more hygiene. And so far the best hot pot place in Sydney! I recommend ordering the beef platter the moment you sit down as they came in after our 3rd round of order 🤪
