Good service and arrogant security (inside). We got kicked out for looking intoxicated. They lumped is with the table next to us and told us all to leave. When talking to the young man he said ' I made my decision.' and walked away. If you're after a good night with your mates, find somewhere else.
Absolute banger of a venue with staff, security and management to match, keep up the good work guys, love from a Newtown local.

Always been pretty packed so hard to get a seat but always been a great pub
This place is really nice for drinking. Good selection of beers too. Hang out at the courtyard and enjoy the beers. Food was nice but the roasted pork I ordered there is like 80% fats. A nice place to chill on the weekends.

Always a great place for a catch up with friends, a drink or a bite to eat. Multiple in and outdoor spaces give you a variety of moods and vibes to enjoy. Caters to both mainstream and Boutique drinks/beers and a decent pub restaurant downstairs will give you something to line your stomach.
The Bank is Newtown's favorite pub, perfect for outdoor drinks and lively unforgettable night outs. Get in past the public bar, wander off into our amazing beer garden and try the finest craft beers in town with out twelve taps from Uncle Hops. Or check out the latest and most talented local Australian artists in Wayward upstairs. We're open everyday, 10am til late. Come over!
