The Bank

One of the best pubs in Newtown. Has a good selection of beer, wine and cocktails. There are two main areas of the pub; an inside pub area with a lot of comfortable seating and a huge outside courtyard. The staff are very friendly and they now have an order at the table system which makes things very easy. Their food is very nice and well priced. A very clean pub and the toilets are well kept.

A surprisingly big place with many options depending on the atmosphere you prefer. The food is decent and the service is good but it is the beer selection that truly sets the Bank apart from other hotels. It is craft beer heaven with knowledgeable staff who will readily give you a taster to help you make a selection. The venue has heaps of charm.

Decided to eat dinner at the Bank hotel with my husband but I thought 1 lamb skewer with some onion and chilli for $24 was a bit much It was listed as a main when it wasn’t much bigger than a starter. With my husbands sesame fried chicken pita for $22 plus chips for $4 and two drinks $18 each, all up $78 a bit expensive, going home for some tea and toast to fill us up. Not happy.

Great pub, assortment of Bars providing plenty of seating options. Good variety of 🍻 beers on tap. And... Friendly staff!

It's a very friendly out going venue where I can enjoy my self. The staff are great good vibe good music.

I adore this place, whether its for a quick drink, a place to meet up with friends or there simply amazing food you cant go wrong. Staff are fabulous and both levels have disabled access(lift and level entrance inside)!!! Has smoking section. Even assisted my efforts when i lost my sunnies there once.

This pub has great vibe, music and people. I'd give it 5 stars if they were a bit more careful with food. I ordered a vegan burger and among the possible "add ons" there is mushrooms sauce. I start eating the burger but before trying the sauce I asked whether the sauce was vegan and after checking with the chef, they told me it had beef stock in it.

Great atmosphere in the beer garden, quick to get a drink for the bar and the food was delicious 👍🏼 was also great to see that dogs were welcome

Fresh beer on tap. Friendly staff. Street fighter 2 playable upstairs. Winner winner chicken dinner.

You guys need to understand that chefs finished their job late. We do long hours, pressure. Some days when I finished my work I would like to have a beer at bank pub. Of course my face looks like tired, I Did 14 hours today. But I couldn’t go in because you guys, bank hotel in. Newtown, have the worst secure guy I saw working in hospitality. I am working in the kitchen for 5 years. Security is away too much. Sorry for review.
