Great selection of tasty independent beers out the back. Just ask the bar staff.

surprisingly the bank has become one of my fave pubs in newtown, it's HUGE with a great courtyard and there always seems to be space. love ya work

Overall a really good pub. I have been there so many times! Just missed one popular beer brand. That's ok!

This is a great place, and the staff are making the most of a bad covid19 situation, the rules forced upon bars at the moment - no standing whilst drinking for example, make it hard for the business to make the place feel inviting and good for socialising. I believe the Bank is doing their very best given the rules placed upon them however the going out experience is now more okay rather than truly great/good at any bar or business - The bank deserves a full 4 stars though because you can see they are doing their best under the circumstances.

Went here with a couple of friends, was a good night. Didn't have anything to drink as I was driving, but the atmosphere was great. LBGTQ friendly with good staff and covid practices. Good Stuff

Good Atmosphere, great staff, convinent location, modern with a nod to the past.

Good food, good ambience friendly service and most importantly good beer. Has a car park as well with $16 payment until midnight. Limited food choices but still a good place to have a meetup with friends. Closer to central station if you're coming by public transport.
