Service was good. Most of the food was great but I would not go there to eat a steak. Asked for medium, got well done that was not very tasty. Seafood chowder was excellent. Pork belly and tempura prawns was also great.

We had the mushroom risotto and rib eye due to the quail not being available and dessert was an assortment of small dessert. All meals were well cooked and full if flavour. Removed one star for the arrogant front of house staff members who think they are doing me a favour by letting me eat there. All the rest of staff were great.

Whilst I thought the size of the fish and chips was small, the sticky dare pudding made me full. The tartar sauce was had no flavour also had lumps, so I was hesitant to try it. Otherwise nice atmosphere. Not fine dining, just good dining.

Had the scotch fillet with their special coffee bean rub - very tender and juicy. Delicious. Accompanied by some greens and roast potatoes. Service was friendly, professional and efficient. Ambience was cosy and interesting.

We were celebrating a special occasion. We arrived at 7:30, ordered only a main course each at 7:45. At 8:10 we asked where our meals were..... " not long" we were told...at 8:20 we asked again and for some bread to have with our expensive bottle of wine. Then finally at 8:30 our meals arrived. At no point did the manager come and apologise. So when we received bill with a $6 charge for bread (we had spent $200 on drinks & dinner) we refused to pay for the bread....on principle. THEN the manager appeared....his response was "can't you see how busy it is? You ordered the the bread you ate the bread you pay for it!" In all our years we have never experienced such attitude....this guy makes Basil Fawlty look good.....if you want a great dining experience DO NOT GO HERE.
