We always see long lines at this establishment and because it was relatively quiet tonight we decided to give it a try. This restaurant has a huge menu of varied dishes that are both distinct and very well presented, however there is no vegetarian friendly options for my partner as all pots bowls and fryers are tainted with meat (staff was kind enough to be frank about it). The squid ink garlic prawn stone bowl is quite an impressive dish, but not something that I want to eat over and over again. Did not enjoy the egg jelly but that's just personal preference.

Pretty nice. Came here on a Friday night (or Saturday??) and it was pretty busy. There was a little bit of a wait (maybe 20-30min), but I’d say that it was worth it. We got the black rice with some sort of crispy prawns and a cheesy sauce, and also the beans and eggplant. Both dishes were surprisingly good. The beans with the eggplant had a good flavour and texture. The black rice was unique and the cheesy flavour was actually pretty nice too. Definitely very filling as well! Would recommend coming here. My only complaint (if I were to have one) would be that the tables were quite close to each other, which wasn’t the most comfortable...

Absolutely love this place! Super busy during peak hours but rightfully so. Food is delicious and cheap. Served very quickly. They often have fresh seafood for you to choose from as you walk in and the price is reasonable. I highly recommend prawn with squid ink rice for those who have not tried it as well as the whole barramundi - its only $20!

The service was fast and friendly. The waiter promptly attended to our need for a high chair for our toddler without any fuss! We ordered the Pork Ribs with Sweet and Sour sauce, the fried salt and pepper mushrooms and pan fried pork dumplings - our food came out quickly. The mushroom was certainly the highlight.

Yummy Chinese food in Burwood. Highly recommend and suggest to go early to avoid long queue.

The food here is absolutely phenomenal, I'm absolutely bringing people back here again. There was a bit of a wait to get in but you order before you're inside and so the wait between sitting down and receiving food is minimal. Pricing reasonable. One of my new favourite restaraunts.

Food was delicious, decent size. But long queee. Need to come early if you don't want wait for so long. But need to remember, after finished your food, you can't just sit and talks for so long, cause as soon as you finished, staff will bring your bill. But apart of that, food is great.

Best food in burwood. wonderful staff. After she took my order the lady came back to ask me if i wanted to change one dish as i ordered 2 with the same sauce/taste. This is great service and allowed me to get something different. You dont get this happy customer caring service in many places. Looking forward to going back

Got several recommendations to eat here while in Burwood. The restaurant was packed, with tables full of brightly colored dishes. Ordered the Salted egg Calamari, razor clam and quail soup and fried rice with truffle and they came out quickly, despite it being so busy. The menu is so big, as a first timer it's very difficult to make a decision; the flavour combos are very adventurous as well. Several tables had the Singapore barramundi, which was quite theatrical - bubbling in the plate coming out of the kitchen. Going to have to go again to try different dishes.
