All dishes were great. But the seat ...... who can seat over there? Im just seating first seat of the table next to the entry door. Its very tiny even i and my friend are 55 size.. not enough space to move at all.

Wow, this place is the next level. Easy to enjoy but be careful 3 of us just spent $900 dollars tonight. It was amazing but be warned it comes at a price.

I have been to kisume a few times now since they first opened. Sashimi is always fresh and their main dishes don’t disappoint. Their menu options are limited during lockdown though so keep that in mind if you’re hoping for more variety

An intimate restaurant serving a wide selection of Japanese dishes, some misses for me, but the sushi is outstanding. The deluxe sushi set, the Moreton and Toro maki rolls are all very fresh, exquisitely crafted, and simply delicious. The smoked masu (eggplant) miso is quite different to the ones I have eaten elsewhere. The masu is deskinned, still quite firm and meaty (not soft and creamy), lightly smoked and served with dollops of miso paste (not caramelized). The salmon is "cooked" in a sea of oil and mustard and taste a bit rough. Perhaps it was just after the 4th lockdown in the Melbourne, service for the night was a bit spotty - the waitress did a disappearing act after assuring us she will be back to explain the menu, and we were delivered drinks destined for another table. We finished our meal within 1.5 hour and were served with the bill, but was told there is no hurry, but less than 5 minutes later, was presented with the payment machine?!

Kismet is not inexpensive in any way, going there expect to pay top dollar for food and drinks. In saying that, it is worth the experience. We had the chefs table dining menu. The food and the presentation was truly beautiful. Very well trained wait staff topped of the night

The chefs table experience did not disappoint! The atmosphere, the friendly chef, the attentive service and most importantly the beautiful food (which we ordered all the add-ons). The only two things I would feedback on are the seating which I was seated was behind the washing basin but the chef made sure it was used with care so nothing splashed on me. The other thing was the cocktail I had, which is mixed with gin, lychee and rose water. After the first two courses I had to stop drinking it because it completely overpower the flavours of the food. I wish they would tell me it does not pair well with the course. Other than that I still felt this is a great experience from Kisume and would recommend to everyone.

Our second time here already with a different seating. This time we sit in front of the sushi bar, watching the chef cooking for the customer was quite fancy. I like how they decorate the background with the chef knives. Make it feel more Japanese. The food here was absolutely amazing. The quality of the fish was great. I can say the salmon that we had was as good as we had in Tokyo Fish Market. The only down side was Wagyu beef in barley broth. Well, I'm not a big fan of barley so I think Japanese rice should be better with this dish. Also I think the portion of Tuna tartare should be bigger compare to the price. The service, always friendly and attentive. We definitely come back for another special occasion.

All of the plates are beautiful and delicious. The sashimi is fresh, the sushi is perfect, and no one can say no to their panda cotta. It would be better if more vegetables in chef’s tasting menu.

Absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend the Wagyu truffle mozzarella balls and the Oro salmon. The staff were attentive and the food was paced nicely

Sophisticated ambience with controversial art work. We celebrated a friends birthday at the Chefs table experienced the OMAKASE 18 course (with pairing sake for one) Absolutely mesmerising tastes with each exquisite plate. Beautifully presented dishes created infront of our eyes. The dialogue that came with each dish, the source of fish &dressings and the production of each sake topped it! A Must do, if you LOVE Sashimi as much as I do !!
