Haven’t been to this place in the city for years, still remember when they have the Tomato Raman with light soup which was the best, sadly not available anymore. The egg I had today wasn’t even proper marinaded, didn’t even bother to cut I half? Just like normal half cooked egg with plain taste. The price got higher and the quality is going down. Bye bye Gumshara. *Crossing out from my list*
Gathered a lot of positive review in its ramen. Located in a food court. The no-frill king of Sydney ramen with very very thick broth. You either love it or find it an experience. I has finer ramen elsewhere but that's just my two cents worth.
This is the BEST ramen you'll ever eat, and it's definitely the best I've eaten outside of Japan. The broth and char siu is perfection, how has this place escaped me all these years, I will be back.
Going to Sydney is not complete without getting at least one meal from here while you visit. The ramen bowls here are heavenly. ❤️❤️❤️
Ahhh the soup is so thick #loveit, but don't worry u can put some light soup to addjust ur preference :) Menu : Tonkotsu Ramen (R) + Sof Boiled Seasoned Egg $13.3 + $2 Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen (R) $15.3 Mini Sparerib & BBQ Pork Ramen (L) 22.3 PS. They sell frozen ramen !! 👏🏻 This stall is inside food court so if u go from chinatown, walk until Harbour Plaza then go left and go inside the food court (my last picture). #ceating #chinatown #haymarket #ramen #japanesefood #eatinaustralia
The best ramen in town, if you really like strong flavour definitely the place to go, but unfortunately cash only 😜
Super thick, delicious tonkotsu broth. Their product and generosity have improved over the years.
First time visit. Have high expectations. Broth is thick but flavour is single and bland. Saltiness too overpowering, taken over the umami in the broth. Cannot finish the broth as its too salty to my liking.
1. The products are getting less than before, but it's okay, the quality is still good, and also clear for customers to read the menu. 2. I'd like to thank the young girl who ordered the meal for me, I asked her to make the noodle be hard (no cooking too much), not soft, and she did that for me. Really like to thank her face to face, but didn't find her at that time. 3. It's good to have this kind of thick soup, and also the regular size is just perfect for a girl. 4. A little bit salty in the end, but that's Japanese style ramen, I'd really like to have another bowl of rice with the soup, but too full for me. 5. The flavor of the noodle has too much flour taste, I'm not sure it's a normal circumstance for all the noodles or not, but just the experience after eating. 6. They provide the red ginger to bring down the greasy taste, don't forget to have some. Also put some roasted sesame seeds for your ramen. 7. Definitely revisit if I'd like to have Japanese ramen.
Haven't been here in years and it's still as delicious. Got the bbq pork ramen. They definitely don't cheap out on the amount of meat. Perfect bowl of ramen for a cold winter.
