The day was young, and the sun burned with a similar intensity for my desire to provide my partner with a robust dining experience for a modest price. We were greeted by staff who appeared eager to exceed our service expectations. After being seated in a prime position to take in the extraordinary views of their spacious car park and a couple birds who seemed to regular this establishment. The food was what you would expect from a buffet, with some appetisers still cold in the middle, at this point the staffs vigor had fleeted as this decor did last century. As we moved on to the mains the light on the food was bright like the hope in my heart to vanquish this hunger demon that had befallen me. Alas my hopes crumbled such as my deep fried still heavily shelled prawns did in my mouth. So many questions now racing through my head such as "How do you serve honey chicken without chicken?" And "Dude, where is the calamari in my calamari rings?" Not even the riddler could solve this! Feeling defeated and fearsom of my next bowel movement i looked over to the table next to me whilst trying to get through my instapudding mango cup and sadlova to witness an elderly couple ensnared by the offer of the $5 seafood plate consisting of 5 prawns and 2 mussels. But I rate the nuggets! I mean it wasn't McDonald's quality but better than that black and gold branded box stuff.
