The Grange Buffet

Buffet is mainly Asian, Chinese food. Quality is not that great! Also, cannot self serve!

Great buffet and fresh food. Kent from the food serving team was very kind and helpful.

Not sure what it was like before covid restrictions, but it really reminded us of a nursing home dinning. You get your tray and stand in line to collect your portion. The food though is the main issue. Would not recommend the pumpkin soup its loaded with sugar.... the fried rice was litterally boiled rice with peas and carrots. The drinks were bottomless but the cup you got was no more than a shot glass which made it annoying whilst constantly having to ask covid marshals for refills. Just the whole feel of the place was out dated and over rated.

Buffet format has changed since covid. Food is packed into individual serves and distributed to queued patrons by staff. Staff look overworked and could not serve efficiently. Many stations were unattended requiring a wait for staff to come over. Food quality was satisfactory. Make sure you have time and are prepared to queue and wait for food.

Food was so fresh and tasty. Didn't have to wait too long for the food to be replenished even though the place was packed to capacity

Never going there again! I took my mother there for mothers day. They doubled the price and the food was worse than the last time I was there. Absolute rubbish don't waist your time or money.

If you are thinking of dining at the Grange Buffet in Blacktown, please read here first. I visited The Grange Buffet this evening (30/11/20) at 6.30pm. They have you line up at the buffet and serve all food in tiny portions that are sitting in seperate bowls there for making it cold/stail. I'd say it's fair enough making you line up due to Covid19 however my partner and I were in a line of about 50 people who were squashed together. I saw nobody enforcing social distancing or abiding the guidelines. The food selection was very little. Most of the dishes I had were not eatable due to sitting for so long and I was looking forward to the Calamari Rings which turned out to be processed fish. ??????? There was lots of chips, springrolls etc.. that was about it. All food looked old and like I previously stated, the dishes I ate were un eatable. If only I could post photos on this review. Highy recommend not visiting this buffet unless finger food is your thing.

Extremely rude staff, stay away from this buffet, the worst experience ever!

Love this place. Very affordable. They clean and keep topping up food as they go. People seem happy and satisfied dining here. There is a lot of Asian dishes which I enjoy. Wished they made lasagne though
