El Jannah Granville

Great authentic chicken place! Highly recommended

Being in the area and a bit hungry we decided to give El Jannah a try. When I saw shawarma on the menu I was sold, thinking it was going to be like the shawarma I use to have in my younger days in Hillbrow, in Johannesburg, South Africa. Not even close, but was still good. It was a leb bread wrap with beef, tabouli and pickles and a bowl of chips with a drink. We also ordered the lamb kafta wrap also served with chips and a drink. They were both good but I probably wouldn’t order it again. Seems the bbq chicken served with leb bread, chips, pickles, toum, hummus and tabouli is the popular choice. As we live in Castle Hill El Jannah is not really convenient and would get my Lebanese food fix from InFlames.

Charcoal chicken was super great, fried chicken was good also, skewers were awesome specially sajouk. Garlic dip adds to the flavour and make the whole experience special. Service is fast also and efficient, only one point where they can improve is that the staff is robotic and seldom smiles let alone be friendly, perhaps under paid and/or over worked or maybe just not trained to be friendly and smiling. Otherwise everything is great.

The best Al Jannah in Sydney. Awafi in Revesby is better service, fresher food and better quality chicken

I feel like El Jannah in Granville has a bit more in their menus than any others I've been to. The food is as well great. Just a little disappointed about them not making people follow any social distancing rules. Besides a hand sanitizer and a sign that says to keep distance which people were clearly not following, no one was wearing a mask.. not saying its their fault but maybe encourage people to follow?

biggest stingy people on earth might aswell take ur sauce & garlic from home ordered 2 chickens came with 50 cents piece size garlic, overrated hole
