Latitude Tower World Square 644 George St Level 1, Shop 11.04 2000, Sydney
Being a Chinese person I can't help but try it out though the prices are just crazy. It is a nice place to eat but to fill you up you will go broke. But since it's in the good court you can get food from other places
I got noodles which had eggs on top (despite was not visible from the menu) so before touching the food I asked them if I could get something different because I can't eat eggs --- they refused and forced me to pay - never again Sydney is full of dumplings places!
Excellent service and great food! Big thank you to manager Hong for handling a lost item professionally and effectively. Great service combined with great food
Love it. And I've been told by management that it's all shark fin free.
Fast service once you get a table.
Love this place food portions are small so it is bit expensive but quality excellent
This is the best restaurants in SIngapore. Lucky to have it here in Sydney. The shop is quite busy during office hour but the service is superb. The prices is absolutely affordable - cheap for its quality and taste. Its close to transport - I guess there is one in WestFields.
The food is great but the service is terrible. The wait to get a table will be double what they quote you. Once you get a table everything is speedy and tasty. The dumplings do live up to the hype. However, when you are quoted 25 minutes and you are still waiting after an hour that puts a dampener on the night.
We went here for dinner tonight shortly before it closed for the night. After we had finished eating and were about to leave someone in the kitchen screamed and the a pretty big rat came running out of then kitchen into the main dining area. Absolutely disgusting and I hope the food and health board will review their license.
As always, Din Tai Fung is great for quick, affordable, and delicious Hong Kong and Taiwanese style Chinese food. Some items are hit and miss (i.e the crab xiaolongbao, stick with the Pork which are probably some of the best in Sydney). Personal favourites include the Chilli Oil Wontons, Taiwanese style Fried Chicken Fillet, Noodles with Chicken Soup, Truffle Fried Rice, and Golden Lava Bun. Highly recommend trying the Avocado-Chocolate Swirl; a delightfully light and chocolate-y drink, texture is custard-like, quite thick and very filling. The Mango Pudding with fresh mango is wonderful too, although not available at all venues - I believe it's not available at World Square but IS available at the Central Park branch.
